NEWS Flash!!! 1/10/13       MBK is back on the North Tarmac at the Marina airport !!
Thanks to the efforts of Ross Merrill, Alan Freese, especially congressman Sam Farr and the Marina City Council - we will be able to use the North tarmac for at least the next six months - hopefully longer.
This means the second annual Syd White Memorial Enduro will take place at Marina again this year, as will the bulk of the MBK club season ! .
Thanks to everybody involved to make this happen!

Family Ticket
MBK now offers a Family Ticket for Practice Day. Please check with registration for all the details.

Got free lunch?
MBK now has a food concession at the track for race day. The 'fire fighter chefs' are cooking for us, offering meals, snack and drinks all day. The best thing! It's FREE for the racers! Your entry at race day includes one meal/lunch ticket. Additional meal tickets ($5.50) can be bought at the food stand.
It was very well received the first couple of races. MBK is looking forward to maintain this alliance with the Marina fire fighters for the year.

"NEWBIE/ROOKIE" class
MBK is offering a "NEWBIE/ROOKIE" class for all race days.
The newbie/rookie class is intended for Senior and Junior karters who don't like to participate in one of the racing classes. If you don't want to race, just like to go out to practice or test on a 'race' day, this is the class for you.
Come on out and have some fun.

Rules Updates & Requirements for the Season
  • Helmet requirement changed, SNELL SA or M 2005 or newer required
  • Extended Rear Bumper will be mandatory.
  • The Spec Tire for Briggs World Formula is the MG Red.
    This tire is very durable and is available from Fastechracing.
